Turning Seventeen (free choice)

One more year... One more year before I am fudged. The time is almost coming where I'm going to have to start paying my own bills and finding my own way around this world, with a little help from my parents. It's something everyone looks forward to, but I happen to not want it to come so quickly and enjoy my last year of being a teenager.

Turning eighteen comes with a lot of responsibility but also comes with a lot of freedom. This is the age where if you happen to do something lawfully wrong it will forever stay on your record and it will be with you everywhere you go. I remember when I was younger oh how I couldn't wait to grow up and be eighteen and move out and live happily ever after. Though when I turned 13 life struck me at the door and I knew it wasn't going to be easy turing eighteen. I knew that  once I turned eighteen all my irresponsible actions would be a danger to me. I don't only tend to look at it the negative way but also at all the good benefits that come from it. Being eighteen gives me the chance to learn how to be completely independent before i end my teen ages. I will already be out of high school, which means that I will already be working at a medium wage job to pay for all my needed expenses. Perhaps it may not be a medium wage job depending on how well I finish off high school and what type of job i apply for. Deep down I know I'll get through this as smoothly as possible because I know I have people on my side who wouldn't mind helping me through some of the rough patches I encounter.

This is the time of my life where my real life begins. I always try my best to look at the positives of turning eighteen since there is no running away from it. Only if we could slow down time or make it go backwards to where I could've done way more things that i had wanted to in my teenage years. I sometimes wish I could be like Peter Pan and move to Neverland so that I could never grow up and stay young forever, but I know I can't. This is going to be one hell of a ride..

MOLLY & STACHE ♥ free choice

The most cutest kitten in the world to me is this little kitten to the left. That is Molly Darling as a baby cat, from that moment till now she has grown so much. She has grown into a cat with such an amazing personality. She shows me love and compassion through out the day and throughout night just waiting for me to come home from school.

Everyday coming home from school I find her standing right in front of the door as i open it. As though she senses me coming in, it's honestly the best thing ever. She has a twin brother whose name happens to be Stache, though I like to call him baby Stache. Stache is my brothers cat which happen to be extremely adorable. Only difference about Stache and Molly is that he has a cute little mustache. They both bring so much joy into my life, every moment and every minute they spend time with me. They have such powerful effects towards people, before I had finally had the chance to own a cat my parents most dreaded to have one in the house. Now they love both kitties as if they were with us for years.

Everyone who has encountered my cats in a matter of seconds tell me what cute cats they are. Their personalities are so unique but yet so different. Molly is a cute lady mannered cat which is extremely adventurous and super cuddly. On the other hand while Stache is sometimes adventurous with all the crazy stunts he's pulled. He is more of the calm, lazy, chubby cuddly kitty. They both make the best pets ever and I love them both equally. Having my own pet has made a big difference in my life.

My Favorite Hobby

The moment i had began to walk on my two feet ,  I challenged myself to a lot of experiments. Doing that will then let me know what my favorite hobby is.  Though i really don't have favorite anythings, if i had to choose one by force. I would say drawing and scrap booking are my thing. I almost forgot to add that I'm always listening to music while doing my hobbies. Music is my life, one of the best hobbies I had ever had.

At the age of 3 I had the most fun painting pictures that i would make for anyone that was in my household.  Even though they weren't that great, I tried my best. Art has always had and still has an impact on me. Perhaps maybe art is my calling, maybe that's a hobby I could take it to the next level. I have this very unique scrapbook that i am working on right now. I plan to finish every single page with no white gaps left over it. I'm keeping it until the days i turn old, and one day i will hand it down to my children so they can remember what their mother was about.

I believe scrap booking is my favorite hobby because of the fact that i can do whatever I want to my own book. It is the best way that I can relieve any negative thoughts and or just let out anything that's affecting me on that day,  either good or bad. I believe I would start crying if I were to look at this scrapbook of mine forty years from now. There is so much that has changed since the first day i decided to being my scrap booking.

About Me

                                                         JOANNA ISABEL MIJES
I go by the name Joanna Isabel Mijes, I am the last daughter out of four children. I have moved to Costa Mesa about 3 to 4 years ago and began the eighth grade here. It sucked really. Though now that i've become more familiar with my surroundings I had decided to come to Back Bay High School. I plan on graduating from this school once I catch up and complete all my credits missed from the past years. There's a lot i can say about me, though i'll just say the main things. I come from a Mexican family of six, I live with both my mother and father as well as two of my siblings Alejandra and Christian. I am a 16 year old junior attending Back Bay High School who is trying her best to move on and succeed in life.

Besides all of that I am a very open-minded person, I have been ever since I was younger. My mother brought me up to be very respectful and kind to anyone and everyone. I tend to be very caring and lovable, though I can be the exact opposite if you push my buttons. I would say I have the personality of Ariel from The Little Mermaid. She's my favorite princess ha-ha. Any who I'm going to finish this off by saying I love listening to music, all different types of genres. If I had to choose one thing to entertain myself, I would entertain myself with music.
